What is Lockout Tagout?
LECPL develops high quality and extremely durable lockout tags, lockout procedure placards that are machine/equipment specific, and a variety of other machine safety signage. These can be developed from scratch or tailored to fit your specifications, providing everything you need.
Lockout tagout procedure placards, or LOTO placards for short, is a visual system used by several industries to ensure that dangerous machines are powered off and restored back to normal operations during maintenance or repair work properly following the sequential procedures outlined.
Lockout Icons/Lockout Tags
Developed for any equipment for all industries. These icons/tags are designed to be placed or hung directly on or near equipment to indicate the energy sources. All tags can be adhesive backed, or hole punched for easy application to the machine energy source.
Tag standard dimensions are 4” x 4” but are customizable for your specific needs. Guaranteed for the life of your machine, these lockout icons are one of the best ways to visually identify every energy source for each machine.
Graphic and Procedure Placards
Graphic and procedure placards provide an overview of where energy sources are located on a machine. Tying in with lockout icons or tags, these procedure placards include information on how to safely lockout energy sources and restore normal operations.

Machine Nameplates
ECPL can develop or duplicate nameplates for any machine. The nameplate can include items like the machine’s name, load capacity, or voltage information. Nameplates serve as indicators that explain clearly the details of machines employees are working with. Our nameplates can be produced up to 12” x 18” in size with adhesive backing to adhere safely to the machine.
